Blank application form for my Steampunk Pokemon group, LanoraeGEAR. You must fill this form out in order to join. This application is not for use outside of the group, so please do not just freely use it for other projects. Please make sure you keep a copy of the .PSD! This application is fluid, meaning you will be making changes to it as pokemon evolve and your character changes!

Application Overview

Blank box in the photograph should contain a full body shot of your trainer.
Blank boxes beneath the photograph are for additional character shots. What these consist of are up to you -- they can be headshots, additional clothing, etc.
Blank boxes next to pokemon information are for images of the corresponding pokemon.

Name: Fairly self-explanatory.
Sex: Male or Female.
Age: Also fairly self-explanatory. Younger characters are permitted, but please make sure the character makes sense -- a child will probably not have rare or powerful starters, for instance.
Height: How tall your character is.
Weight: How much your character weighs [this is an optional field. Simply put "unknown" or something similar if you don't want to include it]
Class: Please choose one class from the overview found here.
Rank: All characters begin at Rank 1.
Guild Affiliation: Currently not applicable, so simply put "N/A" or something similar.
Status: "Active" refers to one of your main characters. "NPC" means they are simply a background character or are free to use and will not be actively ranking through the group. "Dead" is self-explanatory. "Other" is a catch-all field and may be used for inactive characters or likewise.
Cogs: This is the group currency. All characters start with 0 cogs.
Notoriety: This refers to how well-known your character is. All characters start at "0 Unknown" status.

Date Taken: Please put the date you submitted the character to the group.

The other page of the application covers your current pokemon team. Please check out the new member guide for more information regarding the selection of your starting pokemon.

Name: Self-explanatory.
Blank Square: Indicate your pokemon's sex in some way -- either via a symbol, color, etc.
Species: Is your pokemon a bulbasaur? Vulpix? Etc.
Ability: Select one ability from your pokemon's available abilities. These can be hidden abilities if you wish.
Moves 1-4: You can select from any movepool the pokemon has had, including breeding, TMs, etc. Just don't overdo it and give the pokemon a ridiculous amount of powerful TMs or rare moves. Just keep in mind your pokemon is limited to four active moves, and once you submit the application those moves are locked in and cannot be changed until the pokemon evolves or another method of move changing is used.

Artist's Comments

Please use your artist's comments as a directory for any and all work you do involving your character. For instance, this may include additional pokemon references, quest images / comics, item purchases, general art, etc. It just makes it easier to keep track of the character's progression through the group.

In addition, feel free to use the artist's comments to include more information about your character! These are some suggested fields:

Personality
History
Friends and acquaintances
Likes / Dislikes
Etc.

Also, please make sure you keep track of where you met your pokemon, when they evolved, and stuff like that. You can either do that in the artist's comments, or in a separate reference sheet for your pokemon that is linked from the artist's comments of your application. It's up to you.
